I moved to Michigan from Florida in 2001 and feel I now have giant playground in my backyard with everything that Michigan has to offer.  I feel privileged to have joined the team at Blandford Nature Center in September of 2009 as Executive Director.  I get to blend my professional background of environmental protection, farmland preservation, community education, nonprofit management, and development with my personal passions - the outdoors, community sustainability, and meeting new people.  Here at Blandford we'll be continuing our exceptional education programs while moving into a new phase.  Blandford Nature Center's new nonprofit status means we'll be looking for new and innovative ways to sustain and grow the Center while remaining true to our mission: Changing lives through powerful learning experiences in the natural world.  Come to Blandford and experience first-hand the wonder of nature's many gifts!
