Educational programs

With 143 acres of forests, fields and ponds and an experienced, passionate staff to explore it all, year-round outdoor, hands-on learning opportunities abound at Blandford Nature Center.

Our education programs provide interactive, student-oriented outdoor experiences. We share these experiences with a variety of audiences, including public and private schools and home-schooled families.

Field trips to Blandford immerse students in nature and history and reinforce Michigan's grade-level content expectations. We can also share this experience at your facility through our Traveling Naturalist program, which features wildlife presentations and schoolyard activities.

We're currently participating in the Kent Conservation District's Passport Program - check it out!
