What is the next step after my resume, cover letter, & volunteer application have been submitted?
Once your resume, cover letter, and volunteer application have been received, you will receive an email from Blandford Nature Center verifying that it was received. If all 3 of the above documents are not submitted your internship application will be discarded.
A series of background checks as well as a brief review by staff will be completed for each application submitted. You will be contacted to of your application status no more than 2 weeks after submission.
Summer Day Camp Nature Art Coordinator Internship
The Nature Art Coordinator Intern is responsible for coordinating, developing, and delivering nature art activities that support Blandford Nature Center’s summer camp infrastructure.
Land Stewardship Internship
The Land Stewardship Intern is responsible for assisting with various land stewardship operations and projects, including general grounds and maintenance support.
Volunteer & Outreach Internship
The Volunteer and Outreach Intern is responsible for assisting with day-to-day outreach and volunteer program tasks. They will deal primarily with Blandford Nature Center’s marketing needs, public relations, event and program promotion, and special project work.
Environmental Education Internship
The Environmental Education Intern is responsible for developing and implementing environmental education curriculum for community members and students that visit Blandford Nature Center. Multiple positions available.
Farm Education Internship
The Farm Education Intern is responsible for developing and implementing farm education curriculum for community members and students that visit Blandford Nature Center’s Farm.
Sugarbush Programs Internship
The Sugarbush Programs Intern is responsible for assisting in the facilitation and implementation of school programs, community events and festival related to the Sugarbush Season at Blandford Nature Center.
The Finance Intern is responsible for assisting with day-to-day financial tasks. The Finance Intern position is primarily clerical, with a focus on processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, Quickbook entry, and special project work.
