The four major chapters in the geological "book of Michigan" are written in layers of rock and sediments that we live on and travel over every day. From theviolent volcanic beginnings to the more recent crushing Ice Age, the stories in the rocks help us to understand what makes Michigan tick today.
This geologic travelogue will touch old fmailiar landmarks with a new dimension.
