Due to our non-profit status, we receive no funding from the state or city. Therefore generous donations and passionate volunteers make it possible for Blandford to educate, engage, and empower our community to become stewards of the natural world that sustains us.

When you give to Blandford Nature Center, you build a bridge between our community and the natural world.

There are four ways to give to Blandford:

Blandford Nature Center is sustained by volunteers. Blandford has many opportunities that let you share your time and talent. We would love to help you find something that matches your interests, skills, and availability.

Donating new or gently used items is an excellent way to make an important contribution to Blandford Nature Center. To view our most updated wish lists, click the link to the left.

As an independent, charitable non-profit, Blandford Nature Center receives no funding from the state or city. Therefore, generous donations and gifts ensure that we can continue to change lives by providing powerful experiences and opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds to connect with nature.

Mary Jane Dockeray, the founding curator of Blandford Nature Center, has left a lasting mark upon the community with her lifetime of working to connect people with nature. To honor her, we launched the Blandford Legacy Endowment Fund in Mary Jane’s honor to ensure that we can continue her legacy of connecting the community to nature for generations to come. Read more about Mary Jane in this Grand Rapids Press Story.

When you make a donation to the fund, please note “Legacy Fund” in the memo of your check or in the comment section of the donate page.
