Nature in Action for Homeschoolers
Designed just for homeschooling families, Nature in Action is a series of 90-minute monthly sessions that provide seasonally-based, age-appropriate education focused on developing critical thinking skills and appreciation for the natural world.
Nature in Action helps children explore their natural environment in a hands-on learning experience. Three age groups are offered to appropriately engage and challenge learners:
- Acorns: Four to six years old
- Sprouts: Seven to nine years old
- Mighty Oaks: 10 to 13 years old, with advanced programming also offered separately for students with a deeper interest.
- Students older than 13 are invited to participate in service learning opportunities, such as our Volunteer Youth Group during afternoon sessions.
Each class cost $8.00. Members receive a 10% discount off the cost of classes. For complete details about our current Homeschool programs, download our brochure
