All About Owls + Owl Pellets

Pre-registration is required to attend this program. Online registration closes at 12pm the day of the program, unless it is sold out first. If this program is sold out, please complete online registration to be added to the waitlist. You will not be charged to be added to the waitlist. We will contact you if spots become available.

Come join Blandford’s Wildlife staff to get a closer look at our resident owls as we talk about some of the things that make these birds successful nocturnal predators. Every participant will dissect an owl pellet and learn about why owls make pellets.

The registration fee includes the $1.25 cost of an owl pellet. Every registered participant will receive an owl pellet to dissect in the program.

This program is intended for all ages, including adults and children. All registered children must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Please Note: This program will be held indoors for the safety and comfort of our animals.

Cancellation Policy: Notices received at least 7 days before the scheduled program are eligible to receive a 50% refund. Due to processing fees, full refunds are not available. Cancellations within 7 days of a program are not eligible for a refund. Please come prepared for the elements as refunds are not available for weather-related conditions except in the case of severe weather. If Blandford cancels a program due to severe weather, you will have two options: transfer your registration to the reschedule date or donate your registration fee. In the event we are unable to reschedule the program, full refunds will be available. All community programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.
