Blandford Vegetable Plant Sale (F)
Come on out to the Blandford Farm to participate in our 4th annual plant sale! In addition to perusing the annual vegetable plants available in the greenhouse, we’ll have several other folks in attendance to round out this event. Friends of Grand Rapids Parks will be there to do a tree giveaway, MDHHS (MI Department of Health and Human Services) will be there with information and resources to address concerns about soil lead levels, Wormies will be there with compost products, and Solidago will be there to connect with interested folks about native plants in landscaping projects. Solidago will also have some native plants for sale!
This open-house style plant sale at the Blandford Farm is FREE to attend, open to all ages, and no registration is required. We will have a variety of garden vegetable plant starts and compost options available for purchase.
Vegetable plant starts – $4 per pot. Buy 9, get the 10th FREE! Native plants from Solidago are not included in the farm vegetable plant sale deal.
Farm plants available: tomatoes, peppers, herbs, summer squash, melons, winter squash, greens, beans, peas, eggplant, culinary flowers, e.g. nasturtiums.
