Botanical Ink Drawing: Spring Ephemerals
Join Dayna Walton of Solstice Handmade for a drawing workshop to explore the basics of botanicals with pen and ink. This time, the focus will be on spring ephemeral wildflowers, a unique group of plants that bloom early in the spring season. We will cover some foundational drawing techniques using both a brush pen and fine tipped pen, then apply our new skills to create a finished drawing. This class is open to any skill level, from beginners to experienced artists looking for a new perspective. All the supplies you’ll need are included- 2 drawing pens are yours to keep. However- feel free to bring along your own pens/markers if you’d like to experiment.
About the Instructor: Dayna Walton is visiting from her new home in Western North Carolina.
