Online pre-registration is required to reserve your spots due to limited capacity. Online registration closes the day before at 12pm. If this program is sold out, please complete online registration to be added to the waitlist. You will not be charged to be added to the waitlist. We will contact you if spots become available.
Let’s take a look under a log. Join us for a guided experience looking for life on the forest floor. Participants from ages 5 and up will get an opportunity to go off-trail in search of salamanders, insects, slugs, toads, and much more! Please stop in at the Visitor Center to find out where we will be meeting. This program will include a guided hike with off-trail exploration time so please dress accordingly for the weather and trail conditions.
Please note that this program is designed for children ages 5-12 and their caregivers. All registered children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Children under 12 months are free, but registration is required for all participants, including adults and infants.

Please Note: This program will take place entirely outside. In the event of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled, and participants will be notified of their refund options.

Cancellation Policy: Notices received at least 7 days before the scheduled program are eligible to receive a 50% refund. Due to processing fees, full refunds are not available. Cancellations within 7 days of a program are not eligible for a refund. Please come prepared for the elements as refunds are not available for weather-related conditions except in the case of severe weather. If Blandford cancels a program due to severe weather, you will have two options: transfer your registration to the reschedule date or donate your registration fee. In the event we are unable to reschedule the program, full refunds will be available. All community programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.
