Farm Chores: Animals!
Goats and sheep and chickens, oh my! Join us for a unique, behind-the-scenes opportunity to help out at the Blandford Farm. Assist with livestock chores – feed and water the animals that call the farm home – and then help gather fresh eggs straight from the nest. If time allows, candle eggs and learn all about chicken development. All helpers take home a share of the eggs collected!
Notes: No need to plan ahead; just drop-in to participate. Check-in starts at the Blandford Farm 30 minutes before the listed start time. Look for the “Farm Programs” signs in the farmyard space between the large red animal barn and the barn playscape. The first 10 people to check-in are guaranteed spots; more spots may be available on a first come first serve basis.
