Gardening 101 for Kids

Spring is blossoming at Blandford Farm and we’re calling all kids! Bring an adult with you and learn the art of gardening during this hands-on program. Help farmers plant in the Children’s Garden, learn about what plants need to grow, and take home a plant start of your very own!

This program is for children ages 3-10. Children 2 and younger are welcome to attend but this program is geared toward older children. Each registered child is required to have a registered adult accompany them for this program. Program registration includes daily admission.

Member Caregiver or Child: $7
Non-Member Caregiver or Child: $10
Children under 2 years: Free (registration still required)

There are NO BATHROOMS AT THE FARM from September to March and only port-a-potties available from April to August. The nearest full-service bathrooms are at the Blandford Visitor Center, a 10-15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away.

Please Note: This program will take place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, this program may move indoors.
