Herbal Tea Gardening
Pre-registration is required to attend this program. Online registration closes at 12pm the day before the program, unless it is sold out first. If this program is sold out, please complete online registration to be added to the waitlist. You will not be charged to be added to the waitlist. We will contact you if spots become available.
Interested in growing your own herbal tea garden? Join Camilla Voelker, our resident herbalist, and Sarah Bass, our Farm Programs Specialist, to learn more about garden plants that make excellent herbal teas, how to prepare them and take home your very own 5 plants to start your herb garden today! Plants provided include: calendula, tulsi, chamomile, yarrow, lemon balm. We will taste each plant as a tea. Each plant is valued at $3, a $15 value for all 5. Enjoy this class and these plants in the cost of your registration. We cannot replace plants if they do not survive throughout the season. Substitutions not available.

Your program will be taking place at Blandford Farm, located at 3145 Milo Street NW, Grand Rapids MI 49504. There are NO BATHROOMS AT THE FARM from November to March and only port-a-potties available from April to October. The nearest full-service bathrooms are at the Blandford Visitor Center, a 10-15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away
Please Note: This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the event of rain, the program will be moved indoors to 1715 Hillburn Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
