Mini Maple Event Volunteer Opportunity
It’s maple syrup season! Join us for a fun event highlighted by a guided tour of our Sugarbush Trail. Participants will learn to identify the unique characteristics of a maple tree and how to tap a tree. They’ll explore historic pioneer and Native American sugaring techniques and end the tour with a demonstration peering into Blandford’s Sugarhouse! This fun-filled morning will also include a wildlife presentation, blacksmith demonstrations, a take home craft and time for treats.
We need VOLUNTEERS to help with crafts, concessions, and more!
Times:
Morning Shift – 9:30am-12:45pm
Afternoon Shift – 12:30pm-3:45pm
*All participants and volunteers will be required to wear facemasks the entire program, even while outdoors. This is a limited capacity event, that will be spread across the property to ensure proper social distancing.
