Winter Fort Building

Could you build a fort or shelter to survive a winter’s night? Our Educator will share tips and tricks for making a winter shelter. Come out with your family to test your fort building skills, and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa at the end to warm up. Will your family’s fort make the cut?

An adult is required to register and attend this program with any children.

Please Note: This program will take place entirely outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled and participants will be notified of their refund options. All participants are required to wear masks for the duration of the program and will be expected to stay socially distanced as much as possible.

Covid-19 Information: As of August 23, 2021, in accordance with CDC recommendations, Blandford Nature Center requires all staff, visitors, and program participants ages 2 and up to wear masks while inside all buildings, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are also required indoors and outdoors for all guests participating in a mixed-age community program where attendees are from multiple households. If you or someone you are registering for a program cannot medically tolerate a mask, you must contact our Program Manager prior to booking a program.
