Summer Nature Discovery!
Looking for an exciting adventure for your group this summer? Enjoy the nature of summer in this fun, exploratory program in Blandford’s forests and meadow. We will meet some of Blandford’s resident wildlife, take a hike to see what kinds of plants and animals inhabit Blandford, and play in the great outdoors. Depending on the size of your group and ages of participants, we may go bug netting in the meadow, marsh dipping, bird watching, or fort building. Come explore this beautiful, lively time of the year! This program is intended for students between the ages of 4-10. A minimum of 1 adult chaperone is required to attend for every 9 children.
The following protocols have been put in place to ensure the safety of program participants during their time at Blandford:
- Increased cleaning inside the Mary Jane Dockeray Visitor Center and Wildlife Education Center
- Limited group sizes
- Masks required for the duration of programs inside and outside
- Staff training on current cleaning and hygiene standards
- Limited time spent indoors
